PTC Timber Sdn. Bhd. (PTC) was incorporated as a private limited company on 1992.

The company, which is situated at Lot 2636, Jalan Balakong, 43200 Cheras, Kajang, Selangor D.E.

The company has been in operation for more than 20 years. PTC's main business is manufacturing of sawn timber mainly for the export markets

Procurement : from sustainable forest all around Peninsular Malaysia
Sorting : Sorting the timber according to species & sizes
Breaking the timber : Breaking the timber into half to help generate maximum output
Sawing : Sawing the timber according to customer requirements
Quality Control 1 : The timber will then be cross cut & will be inspect up close to ensure usability & safety
Delivery : We sell wet timber or if requested by customers for dry timber, our timber will be delivered to the KD plants for KD
Quality Control 2 : The timber will be inspected again after the Klin Drying Process for KD defects
Bundling & Container Loading : The timber will then be bundled & be prepared for container loading

Major species processed in PTC are Dark Red Meranti (DRM) and other tropical woods.

The sources of raw materials are mainly from Terengganu and Perak's Permanent Reserve Forests.

Our volume of production is about 1,000 tones per month, and 80%. of the monthly volume is for the export markets.

Major export destinations include Netherlands, Belgium, England, Germany, France, South Africa, Middle East, Australia, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Southeast Asia.

PTC's 2013 plan is to expand into new emerging markets which require Meranti for instance Sri Lanka and India.

PTC's 2015-2016 plan is to enter into existing markets which require Meranti for instance United States of America and Canada.
